Systems Administrator IV

Location: Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, United States; work is primarily performed in an office/warehouse setting.

What you will do

• Perform routine Windows and Linux systems administration, including configuration, patch application, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support Nutanix virtualization environments through VM provisioning, configuration, and performance checks.
• Maintain system configuration baselines, documentation, configuration records, and sustainment artifacts.
• Implement and validate patch engineering requirements associated with IAVA, TCNO, and NOTAM directives.
• Provide entry-level diagnostics, contribute to root-cause investigations, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
• Support test and development environments, service accounts, directory services, configuration control, and test data accuracy.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Secret level.
• DoD 8140 WRC 722 Intermediate-level certification: GMON, SecurityX/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP.
• Compliance with cybersecurity patch directives and sustainment processes, including IAVA, TCNO, and NOTAM.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of nine years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform the listed office and warehouse physical duties, including standing, walking, climbing stairs while carrying objects, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
