Smile CDR Integration Developer (Healthcare Interoperability)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support Smile CDR integrations and FHIR-based interoperability solutions for payer, provider, and regulatory platforms.
• Develop Apache Camel routes, integration services, REST API integrations, and JavaScript-based Smile CDR modules.
• Build ETL and data ingestion pipelines using PySpark and Python.
• Implement healthcare interoperability solutions supporting CMS Interoperability, Prior Authorization, Provider Access, Payer-to-Payer, and BCBSA use cases.
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders on requirements, technical designs, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Support testing, deployment, monitoring, production operations, documentation, data mappings, and integration specifications.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience with Python/PySpark, Java, JavaScript, Apache Camel, REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SQL.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR and HL7.
• Experience consuming and developing APIs.
• Strong understanding of distributed integration architectures.
• Experience with ETL and data engineering practices.
• Ability to perform sedentary computer-based work and occasional movement around the office for meetings.
