Manufacturing Scheduler

Location: On-site in Millington, Maryland, United States; primarily office-based within a manufacturing facility with occasional work in production areas.

Compensation range: $62,900.00–$116,900.00 annually, with possible eligibility for additional compensation such as annual incentives.

What you will do

• Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, project commitments, labor availability, and material requirements.
• Coordinate schedules across manufacturing, enclosure fabrication, electrical assembly, and shipping operations.
• Apply capacity planning and scheduling techniques to identify bottlenecks, balance workloads, and reduce delivery risks.
• Partner with Production, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to align priorities.
• Monitor schedule performance, analyze production data, and adjust plans for changing workforce, material, and business constraints.
• Maintain planning workbooks, reports, scheduling tools, metrics, and schedule updates using advanced Excel; support continuous improvement and Oracle implementation activities.

Requirements

• Academic background in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing coordination, or a related operational role preferred.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Text-to-Columns, Pivot Tables, and workbook creation.
• Experience analyzing data and translating findings into actionable production plans.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment, including sitting, standing, walking through production areas, and climbing stairs as needed.
• Production-area work requires hearing protection and adherence to established safety protocols.

Nice to have

• ERP or MRP system experience.
• Oracle experience.
