Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY, United States; onsite role.

Base salary: $120,000–$225,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, coaching, and thought leadership while raising engineering standards.
• Design and build architectures that balance simplicity, quality, scale, security, and operational needs.
• Build reusable patterns, guardrails, and tooling that accelerate delivery and simplify systems and workflows.
• Apply AI-enabled tools across design, coding, testing, review, and documentation with human accountability for high-risk decisions and final quality.
• Build secure, observable, tested software with disciplined rollout and rollback strategies.
• Ensure production systems meet required levels of resiliency, performance, scalability, and operability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 10–14 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and the design of RESTful and streaming-based APIs.
• Hands-on experience delivering cloud-native solutions, including microservices, containerization, and modern deployment patterns.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL and distributed data stores, selected and applied appropriately at scale.
• Experience using AI-enabled capabilities, including GenAI or ML-driven services, to improve developer productivity, system intelligence, or customer outcomes, with understanding of responsible use, scalability, and enterprise integration.
