Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

Base pay: $171,000–$231,500 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable software for the Fintech Risk Platform using React, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Build AI-enhanced applications using GenAI concepts and frameworks.
• Implement risk analysis, compliance capabilities, and risk mitigation strategies across fintech systems.
• Build scalable data pipelines and models for risk data, including automation and consistency improvements.
• Define metrics, develop executive dashboards, and conduct A/B testing to optimize platform performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience across frontend and backend technologies.
• Hands-on experience with React, Java, Spring Boot, GenAI concepts, and AI frameworks such as OpenAI, GPT-3/4, SageMaker, or Bedrock.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD, DevOps practices, statistical models, AI/ML techniques, and risk analytics.
• Strong knowledge of fintech, payment systems, risk analytics, and compliance strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and data storytelling skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in risk and compliance domains within financial platforms.
• Master’s degree in a related technical field.
