Senior Software Engineer - Computer Vision (AI)

Location: San Mateo, CA, United States; onsite five days per week.

Annual OTE: $200,000–$300,000 USD.

What you will do

• Write clean, modular C++ code and contribute to data structures and software architecture.
• Develop traditional computer vision algorithms for intelligent video analysis.
• Train deep learning networks using PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or similar frameworks.
• Build and deploy models for people and vehicle detection, object frequency counting, and unusual object addition or removal.
• Train and implement text-image embedding, vision-language, license plate recognition, and facial recognition models, including real-time and edge deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; research experience is preferred.
• 4+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• 1+ years of work or research experience with current neural network frameworks.
• Mastery of at least one practical programming language, with experience writing C++.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week in San Mateo, California.
