Laboratory Engineer (Laundry R&D)

Location: On-site in Ljungby, Kronoberg, Sweden

What you will do

• Conduct practical experiments and analytical tests on professional laundry equipment, including washer and dryer electrical systems and subsystems.
• Design test cases in LabVIEW with Q-Max as the user interface, following relevant standards, and write test manuals for developed methods.
• Maintain, calibrate, customize, and document laboratory equipment and measurement instruments, including coordination with external calibration laboratories.
• Develop laboratory capabilities and support activities aimed at reaching the scope of IEC ISO 17025.
• Prepare drawings, wiring diagrams, component specifications, test plans, and complete English-language test reports.
• Interpret relevant standards, support senior engineers and technical leaders, and provide constructive feedback to colleagues during testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• At least 3 years of work experience as a developer or in automation and control systems.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of a CAD tool for PCB design and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 packages.
• Open-minded, honest, cooperative, willing to learn, ready to take initiative, and able to work effectively with others.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
