Mechanical Developer/Engineer (Piping)

What you will do

• Design pipe systems and produce manufacturing data in NX together with related technical documentation.
• Participate in development and maintenance projects involving product standards, technical solutions, and functions.
• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to develop technical solutions, resolve generic issues through root-cause analysis, and update documentation.
• Handle installation questions in order projects using the NX 3D tool.
• Deliver design work according to project schedules and create, review, and update technical investigations and documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams, customer order departments, and sales on mechanical engineering topics.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
• Good knowledge of common norms and standards for process and mechanical engineering and design, specifically PED and ASME.
• Good English language skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a changing, multicultural environment with many interfaces and challenges.
• Strong interest in technology and ability to learn new things.
• Very good teamwork, structured working style, drive, initiative, and ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
• Solution-oriented approach and ownership of assigned tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience in pipe design and performing and evaluating piping stress calculations.
• Swedish language skills.
