Director, Provider Engagement

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States, including Remote-FL, Remote-MO, and Remote-CA.

Salary: $134,600.00–$249,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and lead market-wide provider engagement strategies across multiple lines of business and assigned regions.
• Drive program implementation, timelines, and alignment with enterprise goals, market needs, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor large-scale performance trends and improve quality, cost, utilization, and provider outcomes.
• Provide strategic guidance to leaders and teams while addressing complex challenges and fostering continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with providers, networks, regulatory entities, and other external stakeholders.
• Manage budgets and resource plans and represent the organization in high-level meetings, forums, and conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in value-based care, population health, provider practice administration, provider performance improvement, healthcare strategy, or related areas.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing teams and overseeing supervisors or managers.
• Expertise in analyzing performance trends and identifying risks and opportunities to refine strategies.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree such as an MBA, MHA, or MPH.
• Experience leading large-scale provider engagement initiatives and performance improvement across multiple markets or lines of business.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with value-based payment models and healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience in multi-region and multiple-lines-of-business leadership roles within healthcare.
• Experience managing and mentoring senior-level teams, addressing complex challenges, and building stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills, including handling escalations.
