Program Manager II (Aerospace)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations under United States Government Space Technology Export Regulations.

What you will do

• Lead assigned programs by developing and maintaining program plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risk registers, and action-item trackers.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution across cost, schedule, technical, quality, product development, production, and customer delivery objectives.
• Monitor program performance, identify risks and dependencies, recommend corrective actions, and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Serve as the primary contact for routine customer execution activities, including meetings, program reviews, status reports, and action items.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Product Management, and Business Development.
• Support proposal transition, contract kickoff, production readiness, compliance, and continuous improvement of program management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Program Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field with 8–12 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 6–8 years of related experience in program management, project management, operations, engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of program management principles, project planning, risk management, and customer relationship management.
• Understanding of program lifecycle management, integrated product development, production planning, and operational execution.
• Experience using program management tools, ERP systems, and business reporting applications, including Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience with program and project management applications such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Primavera, or equivalent applications.
• Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent applications.
• Analytical thinking, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, deliverables, contractual requirements, and customer communications.
• Effective communication and collaboration with internal functions and customers, plus strategic thinking to balance customer expectations, program objectives, and business priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
