Senior Program Manager (Aerospace)

hirify.global provides program and systems support for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division.

What you will do

• Support systems acquisition, sustainment, modification, development, production, deployment, and lifecycle planning for weapons systems and associated equipment.
• Assess program schedule and cost baselines, analyze effectiveness and efficiency, recommend solutions, and evaluate alternative courses of action.
• Develop acquisition and sustainment reports, including Defense Acquisition Executive Summary and Monthly Activity Report documentation.
• Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings and reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
• Prepare briefings, schedules, plans, and other program-status and acquisition-task documentation for senior management.
• Apply knowledge of funding types, budgets, and the Central Asset Management process.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must hold and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance at the time of hire.
• Either a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, including five years in the Department of Defense, or 15 years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including eight years in the Department of Defense.
• Comprehensive knowledge of systems acquisition and program management principles, policies, and practices, including DoDI 5000.02, the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, and AFI 63-101/20-101.
• Knowledge of roles and relationships within the Department of Defense and the Air Force.
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring acquisition, sustainment, or modification program effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and produce quality acquisition and program documentation.
