Early Careers – Technology Delivery Analyst Intern

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid, with Flex employees expected to work in the office at least three days per week.

Salary: $19.13–$34.17 per hour.

What you will do

• Participate in a formal ten-week paid internship supporting business objectives and member-focused technology solutions.
• Own components of project work and deliverables with guidance from a mentor and manager.
• Research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations for business decisions.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Infrastructure, and Product Engineering teams.
• Support initiatives that improve business outcomes and the member and client experience.
• Prepare and deliver a final presentation to department leadership covering the project, results, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising senior, preferably in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, project management, or computer science; other majors may be considered.
• Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Available for the full ten-week program.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with clear and concise verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills, including the ability to prioritize and support multiple projects.
• Results-oriented mindset, continuous improvement orientation, and ability to learn unfamiliar concepts.
• Practical PC skills, especially Office 365 and virtual collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of schedule tracking, status reporting, and risk and issue management.
• Ability to apply AI and Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to summarize meetings, draft status updates, analyze project data, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Ability to identify and evaluate AI use cases that streamline Technology Delivery processes and communicate findings and recommendations.
• Prior related technical internship or work experience.
• Volunteerism or leadership experience.
• Participation in IT associations, technical competitions, hackathons, or AI/ML and cybersecurity challenges.
• Interest in Information Security, Infrastructure including cloud, network, and endpoint technologies, and/or Product Engineering.
