Principal Solutions Consultant (AI)

Location: United States; hybrid model; preferred location on the East or West Coast; candidates near New York City, Atlanta, or the Pacific Northwest have an advantage. Travel up to 40%. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

What you will do

• Lead AI-focused technical pursuits with sales, including discovery, qualification, proposals, executive narratives, and commercial models.
• Design scalable and secure AI platforms and cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Lead work on operationalizing LLMs, agentic workflows, enterprise data readiness, modern architecture, and AI governance.
• Build repeatable AI offerings, accelerators, workshops, proof-of-value materials, LLM templates, thought leadership, and sales enablement assets.
• Provide billable advisory support, facilitate client workshops, and align stakeholders on scope, risks, governance, and success criteria.
• Partner with delivery, sales, and technology partners including AWS and Snowflake to transfer context and ensure successful execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in solution consulting, software architecture, modern enterprise solutions, or related AI engineering roles, including 3+ years in a senior or lead technical capacity.
• Proven experience leading complex, multi-million-dollar AI programs from pilot and concept stages through production across multiple enterprise clients.
• Recognized expertise in generative AI frameworks, agentic workflows, enterprise data platform orchestration, and AI governance and enablement.
• Deep hands-on experience with AI-accelerated delivery, AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data architectures, including defining reference architectures adopted across teams.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives, risk posture, financial constraints, and commercial pricing, and to shape strategic multi-phase engagements and large executive-level pursuits.
• Established trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders, with exceptional written and verbal communication and executive presence.
• Experience mentoring and coaching Senior Solution Consultants, Architects, and Strategists, and influencing sales, delivery, and partner leadership without direct authority.
• Experience building repeatable offerings, accelerators, and thought leadership, and representing the company at industry events and with strategic partners.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

• Experience supporting practice growth through hiring, interviewing, and developing solution consulting talent.
• Published thought leadership or industry speaking experience in AI and modern data architecture.
