EA-Research Coordinator (Political Research)

Salary: $49,000–$60,000 per year

What you will do

• Research elections, candidates, organizations, campaigns, and campaign activity.
• Track and route leads, accounts, and election timelines across NGP VAN, including ActionKit and Mobilize.
• Maintain accurate territory-specific knowledge and provide campaign context, insights, and reporting.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Research, and Operations teams to support lead routing, follow-up, and internal processes.
• Support data entry, administrative work, and special projects for Research and Sales teams.
• Collaborate with NGP VAN staff to support client expectations and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in Democratic campaigns or progressive politics.
• Experience with online research tools or political data resources.
• Strong online research capabilities, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with progressive political landscapes and campaign structures.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, logistics, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Ability to synthesize data and present findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
• Current or future employment authorization sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRMs such as Salesforce or the NGP VAN / EveryAction suite.
• Familiarity with FEC filings and state-level campaign finance databases.
