Financial Analyst (Data Science & Automation Specialist), Manager

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas; telecommuting is permitted, but when not telecommuting, work is required at 8750 North Central Expressway, Suite 1400, Dallas, Texas 75225.

Salary: $137,010–$158,025 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze Technology operating expenses, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, vendor spend evaluation, monthly close reconciliation, and validation of actual results.
• Develop and automate financial and operational analysis workflows, reporting processes, dashboards, and executive presentation materials.
• Consolidate and standardize financial reporting across functional areas while optimizing data structures and planning-system integrations.
• Build predictive financial models using statistical and machine-learning techniques to forecast technology spending, optimize cost allocation, and support scenario-based investment planning.
• Maintain enterprise data pipelines and financial data architecture integrating structured and unstructured data into scalable analytics environments.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, strengthen controls, and deploy AI/ML and cloud-based analytics technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Data Science, Quantitative Management, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in data science, corporate finance, or FP&A; alternatively, a master's degree or U.S. equivalent plus 3 years of such experience.
• 3 years of professional experience integrating, reconciling, and analyzing data from multiple enterprise systems to improve forecasting, reporting consistency, large-scale financial dataset accuracy, and cross-functional decision-making.
• 2 years of experience using Python, SQL, PyTorch/ML, Google Apps Script, Excel VBA macros, and RShiny for workflow automation, financial and operational data analysis, predictive modeling, reporting, and visualization.
• 2 years of experience developing financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations with advanced Excel, Google Workspace, Workday, OneStream, and AWS QuickSight.
• 2 years of experience managing, reconciling, and forecasting multi-million-dollar Technology OPEX budgets and improving forecast accuracy and close-cycle timelines.
• 2 years of experience improving financial or operational processes through automation, reporting consolidation, or reduced close-cycle and reporting timelines.
• 2 years of experience applying statistical analysis or machine-learning methods to forecasting, performance analysis, or leadership decision-making.
• 2 years of experience automating manual workflows, consolidating fragmented processes, and delivering measurable efficiency improvements across financial and operational teams.
