What you will do

• Write ASL activities providing high school students with a solid foundation in the language.
• Create video scripts for sign language videos.
• Develop engaging receptive and expressive activities assessing state curriculum and ACTFL standards.
• Design role-plays and assessments for receptive and expressive ASL.
• Collaborate remotely with a larger team using tools like MS Word, Dropbox, Smartsheet, and Slack.

Requirements

• Recent ASL teaching experience in high school, college, or community college.
• Strong skills in teaching and assessing receptive and expressive ASL, with understanding of Deaf culture.
• Fluent in ASL and proficient in written English.
• Post-secondary ASL degree.
• Ability to create engaging activities and role-plays.
• Deadline-driven and receptive to feedback.
