Marketing Web Developer Intern (WordPress/HubSpot)

Location: New York City, NY, US; hybrid working model with 3 days in the office per week

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, plus an annual target bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Update and maintain drag-and-drop and block-based pages across custom WordPress and HubSpot CMS environments.
• Create, update, and validate HubSpot HubDB tables and maintain data consistency.
• Assist with internally developed WordPress blocks, theme-level files, custom HubSpot module fields, and structured content logic.
• Work with HTML, HubL, and CSS templating for CMS modules and content structures.
• Perform QA and regression testing of logic, template output, responsive behavior, and rendering across environments.
• Document modules, blocks, schemas, workflows, and update procedures.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including understanding of semantic structure.
• Knowledge of WordPress content management.
• Basic PHP skills for reading and modifying template logic.
• JavaScript fundamentals for block behavior and module enhancements.
• Familiarity with CMS concepts, including custom fields, templates, taxonomies, content types, and structured development workflows.
• Strong attention to detail in content and data integrity.
• Technical curiosity and interest in WordPress.
• Good eye for design, UX/UI knowledge, and ability to follow structured development workflows.
• Comfort managing content, reading code, and ensuring quality rendering across environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with WordPress theme development, HubSpot CMS, HubL, Git branching, accessibility, SEO, basic AI, and Figma or Photoshop.
