Specialist Global Communications (Animal Health)

Location: Rahway, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work arrangement. No relocation and no travel required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary: $79,200–$124,700 per year, plus annual bonus and long-term incentive if applicable.

What you will do

• Manage the Animal Health division’s owned-media editorial calendar and produce articles, videos, infographics, and other content.
• Use web content management systems to publish and maintain content, including image use, linking, tagging, messaging, SEO, and GEO optimization.
• Monitor animal health industry news, trends, and company media coverage, and create regular reports for the global communications team.
• Support external public relations and earned-media campaigns through story development, content creation, project management, media-list building, and pitch identification.
• Coordinate communications programs and campaigns across internal communications, external communications, and social media.
• Create performance reports for owned- and earned-media activities to identify growth and impact opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Knowledge of communications practices, tools, and techniques.
• Proficiency in web analytics, including reporting, platform use such as Google Analytics, SEO, and GEO.
• Proficiency with media monitoring platforms such as Muck Rack, web content management systems such as WordPress for Business, and AI tools and agents.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, collaborative working ability, and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and creative-thinking skills, including the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging, user-friendly language.
• Comfort working in matrixed environments and managing multiple priorities, with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or science-based industry.
• Experience designing slides or creating simple visual communication assets.
