Senior Financial Analyst (Consumer Products)

Location: Hybrid in Universal City, California, United States; requires working from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary: USD 80,000–95,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Consolidate and analyze the Global Consumer Products P&L across forecasts, budgets, long-range plans, quarter-end close, and headquarters pacing.
• Prepare financial reporting, variance analysis, forecast accuracy analysis, and business insights covering performance drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Contribute to monthly and quarterly close processes and partner with Controllership to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Support revenue, overhead expense, and travel and entertainment actualization deliverables.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate, standardize, and improve financial and operational processes.
• Collaborate with Controllership, Regional FP&A, IT, Contract Operations, Regional Finance, and other stakeholders; lead or support special projects and ad hoc analyses.

Requirements

• 3+ years of combined professional experience in FP&A and/or finance-related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and high standards for accurate reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Persistence, accountability, flexibility, initiative, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, multitask, prioritize assignments, and perform under pressure.
• Strong analytical, technical, and research skills; accuracy and strong organization.

Nice to have

• CPA, CA, CMA, or another professional accounting or finance designation.
• Experience in Consumer Products, Media & Entertainment, or financial consolidations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including Power Query.
• Experience with SAP, including S4/SAC.
