Prime Vendor Analyst (Healthcare)

Salary: $67,000–$101,000 annual; bonus and/or incentive eligible

What you will do

• Analyze and present business trends, pricing, inventory KPIs, distribution metrics, and project results to identify improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, sales teams, vendors, and procurement stakeholders; lead or participate in customer meetings and value analysis committees.
• Meet with vendors regarding products, pricing, and terms, and present findings to customer procurement contacts.
• Manage contract terms, brand conversions, savings initiatives, projects, presentations, and KPI tracking in support of sales.
• Review pricing rules, identify discrepancies, and coordinate issue resolution for inventory surplus, backorders, and outstanding invoices.
• Coordinate weekly meetings and collaborate with Supply Chain, Materials Services, Sales, IS, and Finance to maintain accurate and timely reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience in sales analysis and support, or a High School Diploma and at least 5 years of experience in sales analysis and support.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations to audiences at different organizational levels, both internal and external.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions, drive improvements, and find solutions.
• Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with people at all organizational levels, in the business community, and with vendors.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including functions such as SUM, formatting, charts, text wrapping, sorting, headers and footers, and print scaling.
• Willingness to travel for business needs such as training, account meetings, and development.

Nice to have

• Previous analytics experience in the healthcare industry.
• Previous inventory or supply chain analytics experience.
• Experience providing training and developing process documentation or user manuals.
