Senior IT Project Manager / Business Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role in Fairfield, California, United States; 1 day in the office.

Salary: $95–110 per hour.

What you will do

• Partner with clinical, operational, business, and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
• Translate healthcare policies, workflows, and operational needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, issue logs, dependencies, milestones, and executive status reporting.
• Lead healthcare interoperability and data integration initiatives across multiple systems and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements workshops, and project governance sessions while serving as the liaison between business users and technical delivery teams.
• Support process improvement, workflow optimization, digital transformation, and risk mitigation initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, or a hybrid PM/BA role.
• 10+ years of healthcare industry experience required. Managed care or health plan experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and technology-enabled business processes.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams within complex enterprise environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Managed care or health plan experience.
