Staff Accountant (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain general ledger activities, journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and revenue reconciliations.
• Monitor and analyze the company cash position, funding requirements, cash balances, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including bank and credit card reconciliations and annual audit coordination.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports covering sales, orders, cash position, and accounts receivable for global operations.
• Prepare account analyses, process GL postings, create recurring entries, and compile year-end audit schedules with supporting documentation.
• Evaluate bank services and fees, monitor bank performance, prepare banking transactions, and coordinate cash transfers to and from investment accounts.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Professional accounting qualification and equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree and/or other relevant professional qualifications.
• Highly proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, accounting software, and databases.
• Ability to solve problems, make decisions with moderate impact, interpret data, organize work, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform the physical and environmental requirements of the role, including frequent sitting, reading, writing, communication, and data interpretation; occasional standing and walking; lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds; and occasional exposure to high or low temperatures and fumes.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Accounting.
• SAP experience.
