Senior Technical Account Manager (OT/ICS)

What you will do

• Own the technical relationship for large enterprise and critical-infrastructure customers across multi-site and multi-region deployments.
• Design and validate OT security deployments using the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture and ISA/IEC 62443 zones and conduits, including industrial DMZs.
• Guide deployments involving PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, historians, engineering workstations, and safety systems from Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Emerson, ABB, and GE.
• Lead packet-level troubleshooting, complex escalations, root-cause analysis, incident post-mortems, and durable fixes across network, identity, security, and platform layers.
• Advise on OT security maturity, segmentation, access control, monitoring, incident response, third-party remote access, privileged access, and zero trust architectures.
• Represent customer needs to Product and Engineering, partner with Sales and Account Management, maintain technical documentation, and mentor TAMs and customer-facing engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years in technical customer-facing or hands-on engineering roles, with a meaningful portion focused on OT/ICS.
• Practitioner-level hands-on OT/ICS experience configuring, supporting, or securing PLCs, HMIs, SCADA/DCS systems, historians, and engineering workstations in live production environments.
• Deep hands-on cybersecurity experience deploying and operating secure remote access, zero trust network access, privileged access management, network segmentation, firewalls, and OT asset visibility or threat detection in OT and IT environments.
• Working knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.
• Strong practitioner-level networking skills covering TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLANs, subnetting, NAT, firewall policy, VPNs, and packet-level troubleshooting; ability to read and challenge network architecture diagrams and work directly in network gear.
• Working knowledge of Modbus, DNP3, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, OPC UA, and similar industrial protocols across segmented networks.
• Proven experience as the lead technical owner for large enterprise or critical-infrastructure accounts in regulated, mission-critical environments.
• Executive presence and outstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain technical risk to controls engineers, security teams, and executives.
• Ability to operate with minimal direction, prioritize a demanding portfolio, and exercise sound escalation judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience at an OT/ICS cybersecurity company.
• Background in a plant, utility, industrial operations environment, system integrator, or automation OEM.
• GICSP, GRID, GCIP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, CISSP, CCNP, or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with SAML/OIDC, Active Directory/Entra ID, MFA, VMware, Azure, and AWS.
• Experience in a SaaS or high-growth startup environment.
• Eligibility for or experience working in environments requiring U.S. security clearance or background screening.
