Associate Product Owner in Last Mile (Process Manager)

Location: Vienna HQ, Austria; hybrid work; willingness to travel to sites 20%.

hirify.global operates an end-to-end grocery delivery business with in-house technology, automated distribution centers, and last-mile delivery.

What you will do

• Own one courier-service operational process end to end from the product perspective.
• Spend time with site teams when required to understand operational pain points and gather requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria and maintain a prioritized backlog.
• Work with developers in an agile team to define, refine, test, accept, and roll out changes.
• Track process KPIs and use data to prioritize improvements.
• Prepare simple SOPs and support site teams when new features go live.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, e-commerce, or a product or analyst role.
• Genuine interest in how software changes physical operations.
• Comfort with data and proficiency in Excel.
• Clear written communication skills sufficient to write requirements that developers can implement.
• Some experience working with technology teams or using agile ways of working.
• English at B2+ level.
• Willingness to travel to sites 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• SQL or BI experience.
• Czech or German language skills if relevant to the sites.
• Basic Lean knowledge.
• Experience with Jira or a similar tool.
• Exposure to warehouse automation.
