What you will do

• Teach economics courses across all class levels, with upper-division teaching in the area of specialization and broader lower-division teaching.
• Teach approximately 18 quarter hours annually, equivalent to a 2/2 teaching load in a semester system.
• Conduct economics research and creative work, including traditional publications and practical work with startups or larger firms.
• Mentor students in a variety of economics-related projects.
• Contribute to designing and building innovative improvements to traditional higher education.

Requirements

• PhD in Economics.
• Strong teaching ability.
• A record of economics research or advanced experience in institutions requiring knowledge and use of advanced economic techniques and logic.
• A multidisciplinary STEM viewpoint and breadth of interest within mathematics.
• Ability to mentor students in economics-related projects.
