What you will do

• Teach small, rigorous classes across class levels, with upper-division courses in the area of specialty and broader lower-division teaching.
• Deliver an annual teaching load of 18 quarter hours, equivalent to a 12-semester-hour or 2/2 semester-system load.
• Conduct computer science research or advanced technology work, including publications and practical work with startups or larger firms.
• Mentor students in computer science and artificial intelligence projects.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the university and its higher-education model.

Requirements

• PhD in computer science or a closely related field.
• Strong teaching ability.
• A record of computer science research or advanced work in technology.
• A multidisciplinary viewpoint and breadth of interest within the hard sciences.
• Ability to mentor students in a variety of computer science and AI-related projects.
• Applicants should demonstrate relevant teaching and research experience and alignment with the university's mission in the cover letter.
