Manager, Technical Program Management - Product & Platforms

Location: Flexible hybrid role requiring accessibility to a hirify.global Engineering office in San Francisco, CA; Sunnyvale, CA; or Seattle, WA.

Salary: $193,800–$285,000 USD annual base salary, localized according to work location; equity opportunities are also available.

hirify.global is building a scalable and reliable delivery network for a three-sided marketplace of consumers, merchants, and dashers.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, coach, and grow a team of Technical Program Managers delivering high-impact, complex programs across the company.
• Own team-building strategy, performance reviews, continuous feedback, and career growth for TPMs.
• Partner with leaders across the company to understand strategic goals and help define execution approaches.
• Provide hands-on leadership for programs requiring support to achieve key milestones and deliverables.
• Act as an escalation point for high-risk issues requiring leadership guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years of experience as a TPM, Engineering leader, or Product Manager in a relevant technical domain.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a TPM or Engineering-related team in a relevant technical domain.
• Hands-on experience owning and driving high-impact programs with multiple cross-functional teams inside and outside Engineering, including consensus-building in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to course-correct faltering programs or bootstrap new projects.
• Coaching experience based on diving into program details and working closely with team members to solve difficult problems.
• Experience partnering with Product teams to define strategy and requirements.
• Experience designing, scoping, and shepherding features, creating roadmaps, and driving technical specifications with Engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying concepts to both experts and non-experts; empathetic leadership, adaptability, resilience, and ability to operate in ambiguity.

• Experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related discipline.
