Director, V&A Product

Location: Remote, with the role associated with Birmingham, West Midlands, UK

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for strategic Valuations & Advisory technology platforms, from vision and roadmap through delivery, adoption, and value realization.
• Lead, mentor, and grow product managers and delivery partners while directing cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data, business intelligence, design, and vendors.
• Translate complex business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, and measurable outcomes across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with engineering, data, and business intelligence teams to deliver AI agents, data products, intelligent workflows, and telemetry-driven improvements.
• Manage strategic vendors and technology contracts, including delivery quality, cost effectiveness, security standards, commitments, and build-versus-buy recommendations.
• Maintain product documentation and ensure adherence to SDLC, security, compliance, data privacy, and delivery governance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, including leadership of complex, enterprise-scale platforms.
• Demonstrated success delivering internal and client-facing technology products in real estate, professional services, or similarly complex operating environments.
• Experience partnering with engineering, data, and business intelligence teams to deliver analytics, data products, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Proven experience managing vendors and technology delivery partners.
• Strong systems thinking, execution discipline, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
• Deep understanding of modern software, data platforms, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience building high-performing teams and cross-functional partnerships.
• Comfort operating in a global, matrixed organization across time zones, with a strong focus on measurable outcomes, adoption, business value, engineering quality, data integrity, and secure-by-default delivery.
