Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

Salary: £58,000–£60,000 per annum

What you will do

• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Own product costing, margin analysis, manufacturing performance reporting, and profitability analysis.
• Partner with operational leaders and senior stakeholders to improve business performance and profitability.
• Lead monthly stocktake reviews, inventory management, and valuation processes.
• Investigate manufacturing variances and provide actionable commercial insight, KPI reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Support process improvement and finance transformation through a new ERP implementation.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG.
• Strong costing and inventory management experience.
• A hands-on approach and willingness to spend time within the operation to understand business performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.
• Experience improving processes, controls, and ways of working.
• ERP implementation experience.
