Service Readiness Engineer (Robotics)

Location: USA, Wilmington, MA - HQ; up to 15% travel to client locations may be required.

Salary: $69,000.00–$101,200.00 base pay annually, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.

What you will do

• Develop spare-parts lists for new robotics and automation equipment during product development and sustaining support.
• Maintain maintenance and operations BOM structures and develop customer-site spare-parts lists with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Field Service.
• Support part creation and release in the PLM database, including reviewing and updating datasheets and sourcing information.
• Develop equipment asset lists and configure parts, asset data, and planned-maintenance requirements in the CMMS.
• Provide technical input for service documentation and identify field-support tools, test equipment, and spare-parts requirements.
• Provide service-related feedback to improve products and equipment supportability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience working with BOM structures, including reviewing and submitting Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Experience reading or developing engineering drawings using PLM or CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of robotics and automation equipment, or willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with large datasets.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly to client locations and company headquarters.

Nice to have

• Experience with CMMS and maintenance requirements.
