Director, Product Lead

Location: Hybrid in United Kingdom - Sandwich, with another listed location at Walton Oaks; travel to hirify.global offices, vendor offices, and team meeting locations may be required.

What you will do

• Own studio and team operations, including operating cadence, onboarding and offboarding, resourcing and hiring logistics, FTE and contractor administration, vendor management, tooling, and budget tracking.
• Lead studio-level initiatives across pillars, including operating-model work, leadership reviews, enterprise programmes, major events, and time-bound campaigns.
• Translate DLT and Digital requests into focused studio responses while reducing administrative load for product and engineering teams.
• Own the studio’s external narrative, including plans, status updates, risks, and decision papers.
• Coordinate dependencies with sibling platforms, governance, finance, and HR, and surface portfolio conflicts with recommended decisions.
• Line-manage the Senior Manager, Product & Studio Operations and lead a small operations function while delivering hands-on initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience leading operations and complex, cross-functional initiatives in a digital, product, consulting, or equivalent environment.
• Demonstrated judgement when operating alongside senior leaders, including deciding what to escalate, resolve quietly, or decline.
• Excellent structured written and verbal communication with executives and delivery teams.
• Experience running team operations and coordinating people, vendors, budgets, and timelines without becoming a bottleneck.
• Comfort with ambiguity and organisations undergoing operating-model change.
• Ability to lead a small operations function while remaining hands-on with initiatives.
• Ability to travel to hirify.global offices, vendor offices, and other team meeting locations when required, including occasional off-hours work around leadership deadlines.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent.
• Chief-of-staff, studio operations, or digital programme leadership experience.
• Healthcare, pharma, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Familiarity with product organisations, including roadmaps, pods, and dual-track discovery and delivery.
• Previous management consulting experience in a top firm.
