Lead D365 BC Finance Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics)

Location: Remote, UK-based, with occasional UK travel for customer workshops and meetings.

Salary: £65,000–£75,000 per annum.

Work with an established Microsoft Dynamics Partner on Business Central ERP implementations.

What you will do

• Lead the Finance workstream across multiple Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
• Lead end-to-end Business Central Finance implementations, including discovery, workshops, configuration, and solution design.
• Design and oversee integrations between Business Central and external systems using REST APIs, OData, web services, and JSON.
• Lead data migration, testing, and reconciliation activities.
• Produce functional and technical specifications.
• Influence technical standards and mentor consultants.

Requirements

• Strong D365 Business Central Finance experience is essential.
• Proven experience leading Business Central implementations or Finance workstreams.
• Hands-on experience with Business Central integrations.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OData, and web services.
• Experience with Postman, Swagger, or similar API tools.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, Entra ID, and authentication.

Nice to have

• Power Platform, Dataverse, or Azure integration services experience.
• AL development knowledge.
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
• Accountancy background or qualifications.
