Cloud Computing Specialist - Subject Matter Expert (Cloud Cybersecurity)

Location: Primarily onsite at a contractor-owned facility near Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and customer locations. Candidates must work onsite and reside within commuting distance of Fort Belvoir, VA, Battle Creek, MI, Columbus, OH, Dayton, OH, New Cumberland, PA, Ogden, UT, Philadelphia, PA, Richmond, VA, Anniston, AL, San Diego, CA, Fort Bragg, NC, Robins AFB, GA, or Tobyhanna, PA. Fort Belvoir is highly preferred. Work may also take place in comm closets and warehouse spaces.

Salary: $130,000+ annually.

What you will do

• Provide cloud computing, network security, cybersecurity, risk management, and information assurance expertise across classified and unclassified enterprise environments.
• Evaluate cloud and WAN architectures, security controls, migration plans, risks, vulnerabilities, and implementation deficiencies.
• Support NIST Risk Management Framework requirements, including NIST SP 800-37 and NIST SP 800-53.
• Conduct cloud security assessments, C&A/A&A reviews, security control evaluations, and FedRAMP assessments.
• Support secure cloud architecture, cloud access infrastructure, and connectivity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and other government-authorized cloud environments.
• Develop security recommendations, mitigation strategies, corrective action plans, RMF documentation, assessment artifacts, and authorization support materials while coordinating with government personnel, engineers, and cloud providers.

Requirements

• Five years of relevant DoD RMF A&A/C&A experience.
• Experience applying RMF and NIST C&A requirements, including experience assessing information assurance controls and conducting C&A reviews for large, complex information systems.
• Department of War information assurance experience.
• Experience with FedRAMP assessment methodology for security and privacy controls across architectural concepts and design requirements, cloud data security, cloud platform and infrastructure security, cloud application security, operations, and legal and compliance domains.
• High School Diploma.
• U.S. citizenship.
• DoD Secret clearance with Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III baseline certification: CISSP, CISM, or GSLC.
• Cloud Computing Security Certification.
