Auto Flight System Design Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Contribute to the functional and operational specification evolution of the Auto Flight System from preliminary design through certification.
• Deliver detailed specifications using formal specification tools such as SAO and SCADE, meeting time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Define interfaces with Flight Management, Navigation, Radionavigation, Surveillance, Display, and Warning systems.
• Present and justify design choices, performance, and limitations to flight-test engineers and test pilots.
• Manage internal and external coding suppliers and conduct validation, verification, and airworthiness certification activities.

Requirements

• Professional experience in real-time embedded systems engineering using requirement-based or model-based systems engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with design specification tools and languages such as SCADE.
• Practical knowledge of flight operations and associated avionics or flight-control systems.
• Ability to interface and negotiate effectively with multifunctional, cross-domain, and international stakeholders.
• Negotiation-level English.

Nice to have

• Conversational proficiency in French.
