Manager, Mortgage Reporting & Analytics (Data Visualization)

Salary: $148,300–$247,100 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Manage multiple data visualization teams and provide direct leadership to Data Visualization Leads, with 5–8 direct reports.
• Gather visualization requirements from senior business leadership and assign work to visualization teams.
• Develop standards, templates, themes, best practices, and training for BI dashboards and reports.
• Ensure accurate data models, consistent quality assurance, intuitive visualizations, and actionable insights for business users.
• Enable enterprise access to ad-hoc analysis and self-service BI tools while supporting continuous feedback and improvement.
• Manage staffing, performance evaluations, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management, and terminations; maintain risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of related experience, or a combined minimum of 13 years of higher education and/or work experience in lieu of a degree, including at least 9 years of related experience.
• At least 3 years of managerial, supervisory, and/or work leadership experience.
• Tactical experience with at least one data visualization tool.
• Experience designing and developing advanced dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Expert knowledge of data visualization approaches and experience incorporating data storytelling into visualizations.
• Experience using SQL to analyze, extract, and transform data.

• Tactical experience with multiple data visualization tools.
• Experience driving business value through data visualizations.
• Knowledge of data management concepts and terminology.
• Certification in data storytelling and/or data visualization tools.
