Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Milan, Italy; on-site. Full work rights in Finland are ideally required for Nordic project experience.

What you will do

• Manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
• Monitor field activities, progress, quality, safety, information flow, and issue tracking.
• Lead onsite coordination with client, consultant, contractor, and partner teams, including snagging, handover, and documentation.
• Implement and monitor project procedures and processes, working with clients on improvements.
• Lead project meetings, communicate impacts, and resolve issues proactively with stakeholders.
• Review proposed variations and delays in the works.

Requirements

• Finnish language proficiency.
• 7+ years of experience managing large, complex, MEP-heavy construction projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of CSA, MEP systems, local codes, statutory requirements, breaker coordination, switchgear operations, and cooling systems.
• Experience with contractor and vendor management, including RFPs, bidding, and change orders; design management; and project administration.
• Experience with international projects and awareness of cultural and DE&I considerations.
• Familiarity with local construction laws, building codes, and AHJ processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and effective in a collaborative, open, purpose-driven team environment.

• Experience managing projects in the Nordics.

• Project management certification such as PMP, or active progress toward certification.
