Commissioning Manager (Data Centre)

hirify.global is hiring for a data centre commissioning role focused on project delivery, vendor coordination, and client outcomes.

What you will do

• Attend key meetings, monitor progress, collaborate on problem-solving, and communicate project impacts to partners.
• Conduct site inspections covering QA/QC and the commissioning process.
• Create and implement commissioning strategies and procedures, including project scope and schedules.
• Manage commissioning scopes, timelines, budgets, interdependencies, and vendor performance.
• Facilitate meetings with vendor project managers and oversee client-appointed commissioning teams.
• Work independently in support of the Data Centre Commissioning Program and proactively resolve issues.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of UPS systems, switchgear, generators, and critical mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop detailed commissioning scripts.
• Experience managing projects in a data centre environment.
• Degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction discipline.
• Ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients through openness and shared purpose.
