AI Product Manager

Location: New York, NY, USA; in-person work with the team is expected.

Base salary: $220,000–$280,000 per year. Equity: $70,000–$80,000.

AI-native ERP company building a financial system of record that automates accounting from data entry through close for businesses ranging from $5M ARR companies to publicly traded organizations.

What you will do

• Set the strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for a major product area and provide direction for PMs and cross-functional teams.
• Own technical product areas involving agents, machine learning, LLMs, and deterministic workflows.
• Design data ingestion, synchronization, and bi-directional workflows across dozens of systems.
• Build an evaluation system focused on reliability and accuracy for agents operating on a real financial ledger.
• Drive ambiguous, high-impact initiatives from problem framing through launch and iteration.
• Partner with engineering and design leadership on architecture, technical trade-offs, operating processes, and measurable outcomes such as retention, activation, and expansion.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Experience owning a product area or product line and delivering measurable business outcomes rather than only shipping features.
• Deep experience applying AI and machine learning to real product workflows, including shipping LLM-powered or agentic features to production.
• Experience reasoning about evaluation systems, failure modes, and LLM-versus-deterministic trade-offs.
• Strong ownership, agency, work ethic, and ability to set direction in ambiguous situations.
• Clear, direct communication skills and the ability to align multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in person with an ambitious, fast-moving team.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain or CrewAI and daily use of AI coding or assistant tools such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
• Accounting, ERP, or fintech domain experience.
• An MBA and/or experience working with business stakeholders such as Sales or Revenue.
• Technical background in computer science or engineering.
