Junior Software Developer (Vue)

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD, US; on-site, full-time.

What you will do

• Collaborate with a team of three developers to enhance the Tracking Repository for Incoming Orders application.
• Write code, develop features, maintain the application, fix bugs, resolve user issues, and improve system performance.
• Develop monitoring tools that detect potential issues before outages and support system stability.
• Manage and update Docker containers for application deployment, scaling, and development efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve code, infrastructure, and data issues while protecting data security and integrity.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and iterative development.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Full Scope (FS) Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and three years of software development or engineering experience; seven years of software development or engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScript.
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Experience with Java, Django, VueJS, AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, CI/CD, Vuetify, or Vite.
• Experience managing systems in a virtual hosting environment.
