Senior Software Engineer (Java/GCP)

What you will do

• Architect, code, and deploy resilient Java and Spring Boot microservices on Google Cloud Run and GKE.
• Design real-time, event-driven streaming pipelines using GCP Pub/Sub, Apache Kafka, and CDC tools.
• Build integrations connecting core databases with Manhattan Active, o9 Solutions, supply chain platforms, and the Cloud Data Lakehouse.
• Design REST APIs with Apigee X and enforce data contracts using Avro, Protobuf, or JSON Schema.
• Review internal and vendor code, establish integration templates, and maintain TDD, monitoring, and tracing standards.

Requirements

• 12+ years of backend software engineering experience, including strong enterprise integration and event-driven architecture experience.
• Expertise in Java 11/17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on GCP experience with Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, GCS, and Secret Manager.
• Experience with GCP Pub/Sub or Apache Kafka, deep SQL, and CDC tools such as Datastream, Debezium, or GoldenGate.
• Experience with Avro, Protobuf, or JSON Schema.
• Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• GCP certification as a Professional Cloud Architect, Developer, or Data Engineer.
• Experience with Quarkus, Apigee X, or Terraform.
• Background in supply chain, wholesale distribution, or logistics.
• Integration experience with Manhattan Active WMS, o9 Solutions, Oracle EBS, or Syndigo.
