Investigative Attorney (Crypto)

Location: Remote-first, with the role available in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, or the United States; the work-from-home arrangement may vary depending on the nature of the role and team.

What you will do

• Conduct legal reviews of Compliance investigation case files for legal-risk and regulatory issues.
• Analyze regulatory reporting and ensure timely, accurate filings.
• Help define and refine responsibilities between Legal and Compliance in the investigation process.
• Track case volumes and turnaround times against SLAs and support resource-capacity planning.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and privilege protections for escalated matters.
• Provide ad hoc legal analysis and support as directed by the Legal team.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5–8 years of experience.
• Law firm background with hands-on experience conducting investigations; investigations must be core to the experience, while any investigation practice area is considered.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured case assessments.
• Ability to handle sensitive, high-volume casework under deadlines.

• Compliance background.
• AML/CFT and sanctions experience.
• Crypto or blockchain industry experience.
