Senior Finance Business Partner Retail DE (f/m/x)

Location: Hybrid at hirify.global HQ in Berlin; based in Berlin or willing to relocate to Berlin.

What you will do

• Co-own retail channel success across DACH and the Netherlands by guiding revenue growth, margin optimization, trade marketing campaigns, and major retail promotions.
• Advise Key Account Managers on assortments, listing timelines and volumes, product mix, and point-of-sale pricing.
• Analyze sell-in and sell-out data, including Nielsen data, to identify market trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Act as a strategic partner to Field Force team leads and guide distribution decisions with data-backed insights.
• Serve as the financial point of contact for German Retail, Retail Operations, SCM, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Strong financial background with excellent understanding of financial statements, particularly P&L, and deep knowledge and experience in the German retail sector, including rotation and point-of-sale dynamics.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Hands-on experience with Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, and AI tools such as Claude and Gemini.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly to non-financial teams.
• Proactive, impact-driven ownership in a fast-paced environment with simultaneous deadlines.
• Fluent English and strong German are required.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate to Berlin.
