Latinum is hiring a Backend Engineer | India – Remote | Client: Cybersecurity

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of autonomous AI, cybersecurity, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure — building the backend foundations that make secure, intelligent platforms reliable at scale.

🔍 What makes this role different?
You’ll work on real engineering challenges, including:
Designing scalable backend services using TypeScript and/or Python
Building agent orchestration, queues, retries, scheduling, and long-running workflows
Developing secure credential management, access control, and traffic interception systems
Engineering audit trails, evidence collection, and multi-tenant isolation
Building resilient systems that can recover from failures and handle evolving workloads

🎯 Who should apply?
We’re looking for professionals with:
✅ 5+ years of backend/software engineering experience
✅ Strong hands-on expertise in TypeScript or Python
✅ Solid system design and distributed systems fundamentals
✅ Practical knowledge of HTTP, TLS, proxies, AWS, containers, and Kubernetes
✅ A strong security mindset around authorization, least privilege, and credential protection
✅ The ability to make independent engineering decisions and own systems end to end

Experience with proxy technologies, Vault/OpenBao, AI agent orchestration, cybersecurity, or enterprise security will be an added advantage.

Please note: This is not a conventional API-development-only role. We’re looking for engineers who understand how systems behave in production, think deeply about failure scenarios, and can design secure, reliable backend architecture.
