Deputy Facility Manager

Location: Toulouse Area, France; hybrid work with up to 1 teleworking day per week, subject to operational constraints. Full-time onsite presence is required during initial onboarding. Regular travel is required to sites in Blagnac, Vitrolles, Bristol, Newport, Ottobrunn, and Hamburg.

hirify.global operates within the Airbus Defence and Space environment, supporting facility management and real estate operations across European sites.

What you will do

• Support the structuring of the facility management department across three hirify.global sites in France.
• Standardize and harmonize facility management processes, implement tracking KPIs, and define annual improvement plans.
• Serve as the primary facility management contact for large-scale projects, including a planned building layout project in the Paris area.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships, including contracts, SLAs, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate budgets and project milestones with operations representatives in the UK and Germany while supporting local execution.
• Provide operational field support for complex incidents and peak activity periods, collaborating with Procurement, IT, Security, and other functions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or engineering degree specializing in Engineering, Facility Management, or Maintenance.
• Successful initial experience, including significant internships or apprenticeships, or intermediate-level experience in operational maintenance across varied topics.
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory for daily international interactions.
• Electrical B2C certification and working-at-heights certification are required.
• Ability to work operationally in the field, including frequent daily walking across large-scale sites and occasional manual handling of equipment in compliance with HSE standards.
• Eligibility for security clearance granted by recognized governmental authorities.
