Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (PHP/React)

Location: Hybrid, Makati City, Philippines.

What you will do

• Develop new features and maintain and evolve the Holtara ESG platform.
• Design, prototype, develop, test, and deploy applications using agreed design patterns and business requirements.
• Work in an agile squad with stakeholders and peers to identify requirements, prioritize the backlog, and break down complex engineering problems.
• Automate infrastructure, manage Infrastructure as Code, and optimize build and release processes.
• Improve software architecture and design patterns, proactively resolve issues, and select suitable tools and methods for business requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to squad members and applications and API consumers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience in software development, including frontend development with ReactJS and work with legacy PHP software.
• Experience evolving solutions toward new architectures, object-oriented programming, and relational data models based on SQL.
• Strong coding, problem-solving, software architecture, and software development fundamentals, including design patterns.
• Good understanding and experience with test-driven development and continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Advanced experience with Git and Azure DevOps and familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Business-oriented mindset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to plan and manage personal workload.
• Ability to provide guidance to squad members and willingness to learn new languages and technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Experience with C#/.NET, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, microservices, automated testing tools, Docker, and cloud providers including Azure and AWS.
