Intermediate Web Developer (React/Node)

Location: Onsite in Ortigas, Pasig City, Philippines. Work schedule: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, Manila time.

What you will do

• Build, enhance, and maintain internal web applications across database, backend, and frontend layers.
• Develop responsive interfaces with React or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Build backend services, application logic, and REST APIs with Node.js, Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL data structures, SQL queries, schema updates, and migrations.
• Integrate external platforms and third-party services, troubleshoot data exchange, and implement validation and error handling.
• Investigate bugs, test changes, document technical decisions, and collaborate through Git and code reviews.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of software development experience, preferably with web applications.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills and experience with Node.js backend services and React or another modern frontend framework.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, REST API integration, Git, and existing codebases.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or GitHub Copilot, including reviewing and validating generated code.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, ownership, communication, and learning skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills; onsite availability in Ortigas, Pasig City is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with internal tools, dashboards, CRMs, PostgreSQL, Docker, authentication, or role-based access control.
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, cloud deployment, application security, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating HubSpot, Zoho, Microsoft 365, or other business systems.
