Equipment Engineer (AI & Data Analytics)

Location: SGP - Woodlands, Singapore; normal, swing, day, and night shifts may be required depending on the project and scope.

What you will do

• Analyze equipment and manufacturing data to identify trends, optimize performance, and support predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Use AI tools, automation technologies, and digital solutions to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics and translate complex data into actionable insights and improvement initiatives.
• Combine hands-on troubleshooting with data-driven analysis to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on equipment, automation, and smart manufacturing projects.
• Maintain equipment documentation and best practices, support continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work normal, swing, day, and night shifts depending on project and scope.
• Ability to perform work safely and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Nice to have

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, or competitions.
• Project management skills, including the ability to innovate, execute solutions, and navigate ambiguity.
• Strong interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision-making.
• Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in dismantling and assembling parts; prior work experience is not required.
