Print Operations Inkjet Product Engineer (Inkjet)

Location: Singapore, South West, Singapore. Onsite role with approximately 25% travel; relocation is not offered.

What you will do

• Coordinate and lead internal and outsourced development activities with manufacturing partners and suppliers for Inkjet products from new product introduction through end of lifecycle.
• Design engineering solutions, test plans, validation activities, and product deliverables across mechanical, electrical, software, and other engineering specifications.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and tooling; optimize designs and concepts through analytical and physical assessments to improve efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Support part qualification and assurance-of-supply activities, identify product shipment risks, and drive mitigation plans.
• Identify customer-impacting quality issues in the field and factory, develop acceleration techniques and quality screens, and influence new product development.
• Collaborate with management, R&D, GBU, internal teams, suppliers, and outsourced development partners on project progress, design status, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of material properties, hardware, and electrical component design.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond to routine issues within established guidelines and provide analysis and limited project-direction input as an informed team member.
