Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Busan, South Korea; onsite role

What you will do

• Design mechanical systems, components, assemblies, piping, vacuum insulated piping, pumping skids, and equipment structures.
• Develop 2D/3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, technical documentation, material specifications, and bills of materials.
• Perform piping stress, structural, and vibration analyses while ensuring functional, structural, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, procurement, construction, commissioning, fabrication, and production functions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review vendor documentation, manage subcontractors for fabrication drawings, and provide technical guidance during manufacturing and assembly.
• Support product testing, validation, FAT activities, corrective actions, design improvements, and engineering workflow standardization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in mechanical skid design, piping, vacuum insulated piping, and CAD-based engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
• Understanding of fabrication, manufacturing, and materials.
• Knowledge of applicable engineering standards, including ASME.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including stress, structural, and vibration analysis.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English communication skills.
