Sr. Manager, Strategic Finance & Business Operations (AI)

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday and hybrid work on Mondays and Fridays. U.S. Person status is required.

Salary: $135,000–$180,000–$198,000 annually in Colorado; the role is incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Build business cases for capital projects and strategic investments, evaluate risks and returns, recommend resource allocation, and track outcomes.
• Develop driver-based plans, forecasts, and scenarios covering spending, staffing, timing, and execution.
• Partner with engineering, IT, facilities, accounting, and other business functions to clarify project costs, improve capital tracking, and support capitalization decisions.
• Analyze headcount, operating expenses, and project spending to identify performance drivers, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare analyses, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations for executive decision-making.
• Modernize manual, Excel-heavy finance workflows through automation, advanced analytics, AI-enabled tools, and purpose-built solutions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and U.S. Person status are required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, strategic finance, business operations, or a related analytical role, including ownership of financial models and business recommendations. An MBA in Finance or Accounting may substitute for experience; candidates with a strong academic background and three years of experience may also be considered.
• Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of accounting fundamentals, including accruals, capitalization, depreciation, and connections between financial statements.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of financial and operational data, communicate assumptions and uncertainty, and produce well-supported recommendations.
• Ability to work with business leaders, ask thoughtful questions, and constructively challenge assumptions.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems or large datasets.
• Practical understanding of how AI can improve financial analysis and workflows, with the ability to test approaches, validate outputs, and implement repeatable tools and processes.
• Initiative, attention to detail, and ability to take open-ended questions through analysis, recommendation, and follow-through.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related analytical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
